2nd Dan Promotion

On Sunday 25th of June, Oliver was successful in achieving Nidan in traditional Aikido. Thanks to Sensei Frank Burlingham and Sensei Vince Hammond for their support and everyone else at Broadland Aikido Club for being awesome!

Corona virus Update

With the latest news from the PM I have decided to cancel classes until further notice. Anyone who is paid up will be credited for sessions missed. I will update everyone one classes starting after the Easter holidays when hopefully we will know more. Stay safe and look after each other!

Training resumes

Hopefully everyone had a fun and exciting Christmas break. We are back to classes on Thursday the 10th of January.

See you on the mats.

London!

On Sunday 23rd Mark, Alex and I took a trip to London for the Fighting Arts Organisation’s Annual Self Defence Seminar. An interesting days training with a broad mix of instructors left us with plenty to talk about on the drive home. Mark, Alex and Oliver FAO 2018

One of our students received this rather fabulous belt rack! She was kind enough to share a pic of it featuring her new belt! Well done!

Power Cut

Tonight’s classes have been cancelled as the school is experiencing power issues following the slightly windy weather! We will be back to normal next week all being well. Anyone who has paid for this half term already will be credited for this session.

Training Resumes

We are back to classes on the 11th January.  I hope you have had a great Christmas and are now ready to wok off those extra pounds, I know I am!

See you on Thursday.

Back to the mats!

We are back to training on Thursday 14th September! Looking forward to seeing you all back on the mats. We have some new faces joining us but there is always space for more. Visit the contact page to get in touch.

Grading Update!

Two young men who were unable to grade last week more than made up for it last night with a stirling display. As a nice bonus they got to roll with the senior class and held their own. Well done gents. Classes are now stopped for the summer holidays and we return on Thursday 14th September.

Summer Grading Success!

Last night we held our annual summer grading and as always our students show how fabulous they are! The standard on the mat was excellent and seeing the focus on the faces of all the students was great to see.
Next week is our last session before summer so that means for juniors it’s our games session! For seniors we will be doing a ‘no gi’ session. Possibly even some weapons!
