| |
Ko Yama Ryu teaches Goshin Jitsu, translated this means the art of self defence. The name Ko Yama Ryu was given to Sensei Garwood from his senior instructor Shihan Kevin Garwood 6th Dan. The name means Little Mountain Style, and is called this after the parent club, O Yama Ryu, Big Mountain Style.Oliver named the clubs for his Dad after researching Japanese names (in a book on Sumo - Japanese wrestling). The name seemed appropriate after Shihans round form! |
